4theheelz Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 Twin2X4096-6400C4DHX is tested to run at 4-4-4-12 at 2.1 and i need to verify compatibility with an Asus P5E-VM DO. The motherboard has auto settings but also can be manually set to match the memory settings although the DRAM setting max. is 2.1 (1.8, 1.9, and 2.0 are the other choices) CPU is a Q6600. The MB configurator lists a P5E motherboard but it has the Intel® X38 Express Chipset and my board has a Q35. Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Yellowbeard Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 If you can manually set the memory voltage to the needed spec for the memory, it runs fine on the other boards in the P5 line. You should be fine. Double check to make sure because several of the MOBOs in the "VM" line do not allow voltage adjustments. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
