AJ96XJ
I am wondering how thick of a radiator i can use in the Corsair 500D SE. The loop consists of; EK-XRES 140 REVO D5 EK VELOCITY HARD TUBE Corsair LL120 for the fans. The EK configurator says i can only use SE radiators. 360 on the front and 280 up top. Can i run radiators thicker than this and would the LL fans handle thicker radiators? Can i run push/pull feasibly in this case? Also what sort of temps would i be looking at? Kind Regards, Aaron. Corsair Employee Corsair Jam Posted January 29, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 29, 2019 Hello, The 500D SE can fit a 360mm radiator up front and a 280mm rad on top. With the front, you won't have any issues setting up a push/pull configuration. On top you can setup a push config, but not a push/pull. I don't see any issues with you having the LLs on the radiator. For optimal thermals with the radiator, I would recommend MLs over the LLs. With thermals, I'm afraid I can't really say; this has too many variables that'll come into play.
