8510tm Posted June 8, 2017 Share Posted June 8, 2017 Has anyone had any great success with top and bottom dust filters on the Air 740? Where did you get your filters from? I am experimenting and know you can fit filters in the indented sections between the panel and the frame. The amount of metal to cling a magnetic filter to is extremely disappointing. The bottom in particular is very badly designed. The 140mm fan screw mounts are really in the way. I moved my arrangement around to have 140 fans on the front and 120 fans on the top and bottom and after market filters sit better. I am still wondering what you all have done though. Pocah Posted June 17, 2017 Share Posted June 17, 2017 Tell you what I do, not specifically with the case you mention, but with any case that has a vent with no filter, you can buy two part filters that snap together and contain a piece of filter foam. I attach those to the back of the fan in which case they can be cleaned without removing the fan, or to the case itself, connecting the fan to the detachable part of the filter, so the fan can be removed for cleaning of the filter and the fan.
