joefro
Trying to install my LL120 fans. My old NZXT fans that came with the case are only 3 pin connectors, as well as where they connect on the motherboard. I understand that you can install a PWM 4-pin into a 3-pin and it will just run at full speed. But is that 4th pin also required for the RGB to work? I have everything installed, but no lights come on and iCue is not detecting anything. I double checked all of the connections and everything seems right. Do I need some sort of adapter? Thanks for any help.
c-attack
There are two wires on every fan. One is for power/control (4 pin PWM). The other is the flat, 3 pin 5v lighting wire. That goes to a rgb lighting hub which then goes to a Lighting Node Pro or Commander Pro. I believe this will work with the LL fans. As for the RGB - see the RGB FAQ.
