larc919 Posted May 7, 2016 Share Posted May 7, 2016 My Corsair Force LS 120GB SSD is identified as WD1600JS in Device Manager > Disc drives, a Western Digital HDD no longer present in that PC. Anybody had this problem and know how to correct it? The SSD is correctly identified in the BIOS and in relevant installed programs such as Partition Wizard. It appears to be operating as it should in all respects. Other brands of SSD in 2 other Win 10 PCs are identified correctly in Device Manager. ETA: Please ignore. My brain finally got back in gear after another cup of coffee. All is OK now. I simply uninstalled the incorrectly identified drive in Device Manager and rebooted.
