fnzb Posted May 26, 2010 Share Posted May 26, 2010 Hi, I have just tried updating my P256 using a bootable usb stick on a HP 8510w laptop. The firmware update program started and went through the usual screens. When starting the update it beeped and I saw the word "fail" before it promptly returned to the dos prompt. Assuming it had indeed failed but not knowing why I tried again and it said that the disk was already running the latest firmware?? I was upgrading from VBM18C1Q to VBM19C1Q.
