aznmixer01 Posted April 7, 2010 Share Posted April 7, 2010 Hi, I just bought this drive from Newegg and put it in my 2009 Macbook Pro Unibody. The Specs are 2.66ghz intel core 2 dou, 9800 gt graphic card, Corsair p128 SSD, Mac OS X, 4gig memory. I read the instruction on installing the SSD and booting from the firmware but the Macbook does not detect any boot CD in the drive. I even use the Mac OS X install CD but when it got to the HHD selection to install the OS it doesn't detect any harddrive. Can someone please tell me what the problem is with this firmware or my mac? I would suggest testing the drive in an Intel based Windows system and see if the drive is detected, if so it may be that you have to prepare the drive and I would suggest you contact Apple for that support.
