activ_46
:): Hi need some help here .. I have a 512 flash voyager, it still works fine in Windows. But in DOS it no longer boots up as c: (c drive) it only boots up as a: or b: (a or b drive) all settings on machine remain set the same (not a bios issue) when it was working as a C: (c drive) i used fdisk and removed the partition .. then was ask to reboot. i was gonna re-run fdisk again to resize it but now it only gets seen as a: or b: (removable drive) not fixed (c drive). THis means fdisk will not run as it looks for fixed drives only. Can you please tell me how to get the partition back again ? so it becomes a fixed drive c: that is active so i can boot from it once again. it still says fat16 when read in Windows. think it needs to be fat16b to boot ? Thx.
