webecho
I have a Neutron XT (240gb) installed as my Win7 and Programs drive. As of today, it doesn't seem to be writable anymore? I noticed that my google profile wasn't loading and a few other things. Long story short, I wrote a test file in notepad, saved it to desktop the rebooted and now file isn't there. I have tried using chkdsk. If I try and use it through Properties > Tools > Error checking nothing happens, the computer just reboots (always giving me the "didn't shut down properly message - even after a normal shutdown) I have tried through Windows recovery chkdsk C: works chkdsk /f (or /r) c: doesn't. I've been googling and trying things for hours, but the definitive test seems to be not being able to save a file to the C: (system) or D: (Programs) drives. Anyone comes across this before? I've just got no idea what to check next. Thanks webecho
Toasted
Have you tried a different SATA data port and cable?
