RetroGamer360
Hi, I am upgrading my CPU cooler from the H80i v2 to the H100i RGB Platinum. The H100i comes with ML series fans. I prefer to look of the LL series RGB lighting, which match the other fans in my case. Is there any issue/downside to swapping the stock ML fans with the LL fans? Thank you, Michael
DevBiker
They don't perform quite as well as the stock ML fans and have lower speeds (unless you get the white LL-SE fans). You should be OK - just keep in mind that your coolant temps may be a bit warmer.
c-attack
However, since you are going from a thick single panel cooler to a double 120mm radiator, you'll never notice. This will be better performance than you had before and be a little easier to mount in the case.
tjgodin
If your case configuration can accommodate as push/pull setup, I used my ML fans to pull and the LL fans to push. That way I could have the LL fans facing the front of my case or top, depending on how you install the rad. To your point, the RGB is much nicer on the LL ;) Tony
