zoooman
So I'm upgrading my old GTX680 to RTX2070 that has only 8 pin connector (MSI RTX2070 Ventus). So the PCIe cable that comes with the PSU is 12 pin to 2x(6+2) pins. Will it harm the GPU if I plug one if them and leave the other 6+2 pin hanging? Will the GPU get full power just from 8 pins? note: PSU: AX850 Gold
DevBiker
Yes, that's fine. Or you may have a cable with a single connector. While I'm surprised that an RTX 2070 just has 8 pins, if that's how it was designed, it'll get the power.
