alphenit
Howdy, I'm looking at getting the right board for 2 sets of CMX16GX3M2A1600C11 (32GB total) http://www.corsair.com/us/memory-by-product-family/xms-classic/xms3-16gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmx16gx3m2a1600c11.html The memory has already been purchased at an earlier stage and was given to me to build a pc around (I know). I now have to choose the right mobo. I tried the Corsair memory finder but I wasn't able to come to a definitive conclusion so I'm hoping someone here can help me out. The motherboards I have in mind are either: Asus Gryphon Z87 http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/GRYPHON_Z87 or MSI Z87M-G43 http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z87MG43.html#/?div=Detail Any help you can provide is sincerely appreciated! PC will not be overclocked, it just needs to work.
peanutz94
One 16 gig kit would be compatible with either board. However when you use multiple kits or mix memory there is no guarantees that they will run together without issues.
alphenit
Well it's not that the 2 kits are complete strangers because they've been tested in a HP workstation which has worked properly. Many thanks for your help !
