Scracy
Laptop doesn't have an XMP Profile option in bios
peanutz94
Are you sure your laptop has the ability to run 2133mhz memory? Your timings are correct. All you should have to do is set the first four , then the speed and frequency. However, most laptops lack the ability to reach high overclocks if at all. I'll download your manual so i can get a better look. NVM...Stupid dell wont let you with out their service tag numbers.
Scracy
Typical Dell i have had other bios issues with this laptop,it may well be it can only run the ram at 1866Mhz but the bios does give me the option of this speed and higher? Interesting Intel core i7-4900mq only supports 1333,1600 DDR3L officially?
peanutz94
If the BIOS gives you the option for 2133mhz, I would at least try it. You dont have anything to loose really. I don't have much experience with the newer Alienware LT's, in general a mobile chipset isn't going to overclock real well. I would say if you can get 1866mhz out of it, your doing pretty well. You might even take this to DELL's forums and see if someone with more experience with that particular model can help.. Interesting Intel core i7-4900mq only supports 1333,1600 DDR3L officially? Yuppers, and anything above that is overclocking.
