batster75
Hello, I tried to update the FW of my Corsair GT 90 SSD (1.3.3 > 5.05) via the "Corsair_FieldUpdater_v1.1.exe", but the update process always ends with the error message "Fatal_Error: Firmware download failed with error: (ECode:00000057). More exactly the update process did not come to an end (waited for nearly an hour) and the error message appears when i click on the HD icon with the red cross on it in the update tool. What i did before: - Enabling AHCI in BIOS (set the Option to IDE -> AHCI) - Installing Driver: ASUS-AHCI_V1_2_1_269 Thanks for your help. My Specs: Asus 1215b Netbook AMD A50M chipset Corsair GT
Toasted
Try the MSAHCI drivers and see if that helps. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=108235 If it doesn't and if possible, plug the SSD into a different computer and try the firmware update again. batster75
Yip, perfect. That works. After going back to the MS Standard AHCI driver the update processs runs through in a few seconds without any problems. After that I reinstalled the AMD AHCI Driver again and everything works fine. Thanks for your help.
