ForeverZen
Hello! I have a quick question. I have a HP envy 4-1030us with a HM77 express chipset and i5-3317U processor. My question is: Will this be compatible? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233241 I want to buy two of these but before I pull the trigger I was wondering since it said compatible with up to second gen "i" series would it still work? If there is an updated version of this ram specifically for my chipset I would appreciate a point in the right direction. Thanks! EDIT: Went through the memory finder-- came up with nothing. Really scratching my head here.
ForeverZen
Support staff? Anyone care to chime in? I hate to call customer service. I will stick a saltine cracker in a dimm slot before I call them.
Wired
Please wait 24 hours before bumping a post. Also, Corsair's closed on the weekends, so they won't see this thread for another 15 hours at the minimum.

Wired
Not generally, although they've been known to stop by after hours from time to time. They're only on the forum during normal business hours, M-F, 9-5 PST.

ForeverZen
Know what? Nevermind. I wont be buying anything from a company with a 24hr forum that's only staffed during normal business hours and censors the names of other companies.

Wired
A line from the geniuses at corsair. Actually, Corsair didn't write that rule title, I did. It's a play on "all your base are belong to us".

ForeverZen
Not exclusively. Something along the lines of: "Hey we at corsair heard some rumors of new intel processors being mass produced. this, this, this, this and this are compatible."
