Kagowolf
Recently some of the family bought this keyboard to type with in FF14 (Final Fantasy 14 a mmo) on the PS4 (Playstation 4) but to our dismay the keyboard will light up and the playstation recognizes there is a keyboard, however it fails to type anything. So I was unsure if this keyboard was actually compatible with the console, I tried looking for some information myself but I didn't see any topics relating to it. So I hope to find a answer here of a possible solution or perhaps that it just really isn't for consoles and mainly for computers, as it works just fine on my PC. Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted November 15, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 15, 2017 All of our keyboards and mice are designed with PC usage in mind. Double check to make sure that the USB with the keyboard logo is plugged into the PS4. There may be a setting in the PS4 settings that has to be changed to enable keyboard functionality. I'd try going onto a Playstation forum to see if there is a tutorial for setting up keyboards as they will be more familiar with navigating the menus. THICCBOI
I bought the keyboard for my PC but some of my friends who still play on console. so the game fortnite allows you to use mkb but this keyboard doesn't register even though the PlayStation acknowledges there is a keyboard. i have looked through the settings and couldn't get anything to work. i also tried it on other games e.g. eso. it seems the keyboard is not compatible and i wouldn't be surprised if the other models weren't either. Toasted
Have you tried BIOS mode? Press the F1 key followed by the Windows lock button. To exit from BIOS mode, use the same key combination. BIOS mode will be indicated by a flashing scroll lock indicator.
