ignacio__ch Posted July 9, 2017 Share Posted July 9, 2017 This is a brand new PSU I got. Put the AC adapter, flipped power switch to ON and pressing the self test button. Nothing happens. Santiak Posted July 14, 2017 Share Posted July 14, 2017 From what I can tell (and in my experience) you have to have the mini-USB connected to a USB-pin set on your motherboard for it to work - you'll see a little green light flashing orange above the button when you can test it. Also note that it's exceedingly quiet, especially if you have the fan pointing out if your case, so be sure to listen closely - ideally, install Corsair LINK so you can monitor the RPM (if you do, you can alternatively test it by briefly setting the fan to a set % and back).
