kingzize Posted April 6, 2018 Share Posted April 6, 2018 Having problems with CL4 preventing my mechanical HDD to sleep, and preventing system idle (no screen saver) I tried to replace it with iCUE, but unfortunatly iCUE causes the same issues. I really hope theese issues are on the top of the TODO list for Corsair developers, as it is very bad for a number of reasons: 1. HDD not spinning down, and making a "noice" every few seconds as if it is being "probed" by the software. Annoying to the ears, and not healthy for the HDD. 2. Screens staying on, no screen saver, no screen sleep. Not healthy for the screens. 3. Preventing the overall system from powersavings. Impacts Corsair CSR perception.
