Mr. Jyrki
Hey. I built last year new PC system. I planning improve case cooling air by adding 4 x 120mm fans on top. You can see how I planned add these fans on 900D case in attached image of this post. I planned keep my system quiet but still have effective cooling. So problem I have to pick proper fans for this purpose CorsairAir Series: AF120 Quiet Edition or SP120 Quiet Edition. What fans you reccomend for this 900D case's top to still keep it quiet with effective cooling? Thank you for all who will reply and help me pick
wytnyt
its all in what you prefer, personally i prefer high static high pressure fans used as case fans,i can turn em down to be dead quiet but can ramp em up for hoover suction if needed...;):
HOODedAssault
I'd go af if they aren't pushing through a rad. N I'd stick to 2-3 fans on top as you'll have negative pressure in the orientation you show. Which you don't want. You want more air coming in than coming out. Helps with dust and is better for cooling.
Mr. Jyrki
OK. Good to know. I am still using standard 900D fans and how they are set in factory. Just thinking replace them too. Also add these fans to top. So 2-3 x 120mm fans to top max?
HOODedAssault
I suppose if u stick some in the bottom side as intakes it would make for more positive pressure. Still I would go more than 3 in the top. I'd prob go 2x in front 3-4x in bottom side and 3x in top and 1 in rear.
