CML16GX3M4A1600C9 - XMP 1.3 rdy?

Do the above sticks (4x4 GB) support the xmp 1.3 profile?

I can only see XMP 1.3 certified sticks for the lower latency Vengeance LP series - CL8 and down....

Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C8 is 8-8-8-24 latency

CML16GX3M4A1600C9 is 9-9-9-24 latency

it be beter to get a oter kit ove CMX4GX3M2A1600C8 and keep it at 8-8-8-24

8gb ove memory is more then enough to play games

I am already using the 16 GB version on an older P55 Board.

I am planning to buy a x79 board in the future and just wanted to know, if the above CL 9 kit supports XMP 1.3

I am quite sure that even if it does not support XMP 1.3 it will work fine on a x79 mobo. But better to be sure than sorry later on.

Probably 8 GB is enough, but that was not the question.

P.S.: I just noticed that you were probably refering to the Memory Kit mentioned in my profile. That is an older Kit that I no longer use and it consisted of 4 stick with 2 GB each, so no real way of upgrading this with another Kit on P55. I just updated my profile with my current memory.

Im confius, because in ur spec u said u ave CMX4GX3M2A1600C8

A was tinking that u want to buy CML16GX3M4A1600C9 to ave 16gb

Like a said before CMX4GX3M2A1600C8 is more agressif memory

but yes one ove CMX4GX3M2A1600C8 and CML16GX3M4A1600C9 kit sould run ok on x79 U just ave to set XMP profil.

I can garanty it will worck

But if u all ready ave the 2 set ove memory, u ave noting to loos if it don't worck
