Brasky Posted July 22, 2017 Share Posted July 22, 2017 I'm building a mining rig and was planning on using the Corsair HX1200 1200W 80 Plus Platinum but after connecting the MB, etc, I was only able to connect 5 of the GPU's which require 8 pin connections as far as i know. If anyone else has had success with this PSU and a similar set up I'd appreciate any help. I think that I read it would support the load but maybe I'm just missing a cable or an adapter. The HX1200 has only 6x PCIe and the absolute max to be used is 5x PCIe as you will need one spot for the motherboard's 8-Pin EPS. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
