JP614
I'm currently doing a new build and ready to buy memory. The asus x79 tuf manual QVL list a CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 (XMP) but that kit is Dual Channel. The Corsair Memory Finder lists CMZ16GX34X1600C9G It is Quad Channel which is what I want. I just want to make sure it is compatible with the X79. I'm also assuming it is also XMP. Is this the same sticks in a you tube video on the Asus X79 TUF report? They mention the memory voltage at 1.25v. I see that the above stick was tested at 1.35v. Can it really go down to 1.25v? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 16, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 16, 2012 CMZ16GX34X1600C9 is made for and tested on Intel X79 chipsets so yes they will work and what we would suggest.
