MarHag
wich one should i go for?756ddr singel or xms512corsair dual?
Wired
Looks like you mean: 768 = 512 Corsair + 256 Kingston 1024 = 2x512 Corsair Go the Corsair (2x512) route, as memory from different manufacturers don't always play nice together.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 1, 2004 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 1, 2004 I would agree, it's not wise to mix memory even 2 different modules from the same maker will sometimes not work! Go for the matched set of modules!
MarHag
yeah, but then i will only have 512ddr(256+256corsair dual),and then i have the other one on 256ddr,but when i run all three i dont get the dual, only singel. So should i go dual 256+256, or 256+256(corsair)+256(crusial)non-dual!Wich is best,512dual, or singel 768.I tried all three,it worked(tried it for 2 hours)
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 1, 2004 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 1, 2004 Well dual channel will give better memory performance! So I would try to get your system with 2 modules that are exactly matched so you can run in D.C. Now whatever that takes for you is up to you!
