Corsair H100 Modding

I decided that my aging Corsair H100 was boring, so I chose to spruce it up a little bit:

Of-course, the modification didn't provide any temperature difference, but it was pretty fun to do, looks cool, and the learning experience gave me all I need to know for a future of custom water loops.

I do have to say that the red Enermax fans really compliment the chosen color scheme very well! Another excellent build posted on Corsair.

I'm in love with the Enermax T.B. Silence fans. I initially bought two of them to replace the dying stock fans in the back, but eventually I replaced every fan with them, both because they're quiet, and because they look really awesome. Plus, they're only $10 a piece.

PrimoChill Ice Intensified Non-Conductive Coolant - UV Red

Interestingly enough, it was the most expensive part of the mod.

Interesting. I used Feser One UV Red coolant. It doesn't feel or act like it's any thicker than water, but nonetheless something I noticed is that the H100 has a lot more trouble pumping the Feser coolant than it does tap water.

The H100 pump is pretty weak overall, given that the flow is relatively consistent with a slight trickle at best. I think someone's said it's around 100 LPH, whereas you can get a $20 pump off of eBay that pumps four times as much.
