Why won't my H60 Hydro light up ?

Um....the H60 is the lowest "Cool IT manufactured" entry unit. There is no light on the CPU block, it is just a painted on image.

 

Um... Thanks for the reply, but I know that certain models of this cooler light up.

I read on another thread that the new don't for some reason.

I can't figure out how to check though.

I know its' cheap,but my case wouldn't fit the H100 I wanted and this cooler is performing great so far.

I7 2600k @4.2GHz with temps around 40c at all times.

For $70 bucks and my first liquid cooling job, I'm pleased.

The H80i (Cool IT manufactured) lights up. It also goes for about the same price from time to time.

I have seen it go for less.

 

If you are still within your return window and the light up pump block is something you greatly want then I would suggest returning the H60 and picking up a H80i.

 

Same 120mm radiator just thicker and it can be used with Corsair Link.
