ZeekMoneybags
I recently purchased some corsiar ram-The model # is-TwinX1024-3200C2Pro. The motherboard I purchased was a gigabyte technology k8nnxp-940 motherboard. Now neither of these websites or manuals give great specifics about compatibility but I figured since the ram was 184 pin, supported dual-channel ddr400, was registered ram, and the motherboard required all that, then these hardware components would be compatible... Well I get the long beeping noises when I start up the computer which point to a ram issue, so am I out $320.00 or is there another problem? CMC_SAVAGE
The model # is-TwinX1024-3200C2Pro
The RAM you have is not registered. You would need TWINX1024R-3200C2. None of the PRO models are registered. For Corsair registered RAM, there needs to be a "R" in the part #. An "RE" in the part #, indicates that the module is registered with ECC.
