spacewulf
OK, so a while ago I acquired the corsair void pro wireless rgb, and I noticed that whenever there was any sound going through the headphones at all, there was a background static. This makes things impossible to hear if they are very quiet, but not as noticeable with louder sounds. I have looked, thread after thread, to no avail. I have tried using a different USB port for the dongle, I've tried reinstalling the drivers for the dongle, I've tried adjusting the mic volume of the headset (didn't know how that would help, but saw that as a possible fix in a different thread), I have even reinstalled CUE (more of updated to the new iCUE). Please someone help me. If anyone needed it, my system specs are as follows: Intel DP67BG Intel i7-2600 8GB DDR4 NVidia GeForce 1050 Ti EVGA SC edition 1TB WD Black
Corsair Employee Corsair Mint Posted June 5, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 5, 2018 Hi spacewulf, since you've tried different version of CUE already, can you see if this happens on a different computer as well?
spacewulf
I tried using on a different computer, one WITHOUT cue, and I found that the static was not present at all. BTW, I also underwent a full system reset (as in wiping the hard drive), I installed iCUE, and the sound was present.
Corsair Employee Corsair Mint Posted June 6, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 6, 2018 Interesting, I'd recommend at support ticket and let them know that CUE is introducing the static. We can get this to validations and software so they can look into it further. http://support.corsair.com
