Bijmij1
Hey guys, I am probably doing something wrong but I can't seem to get my profiles to start when I launch programs. I have tried by selecting the shortcut, and even the root file. None of them changed the profile. Not that it is a big deal that I have to change it manually but it would be a lot easier if it did it by itself. :sunglasse Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks ::pirate::
Medieval Nerd
Are you set to automatic profile switching? Never use shortcuts as program link, always use the actual executable that is run by the game. If you aren't sure, launch the game and then check with Task Manager. Be mindful of games with launchers, if you select the launcher it will only work with that. You need to pick the game's exe. It's not issue free for me, sometimes if there is a screen flicker while loading the game (change resolution or refresh rate) it can revert back to the desktop (default) profile. But if I alt-tab out/back in, it's fine.
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted March 27, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 27, 2015 Vhortex is right. Starcraft 2 for example has multiple .exe's that exist in the directory. You'll want to link to the latest one and not the launcher (which launches the correct exe).
