bertvr
I uninstalled the Corsair Link 4 software after having some issues with it (constantly stops working). The software is not visible anymore in the windows 10 app list. But in the event logger it is still looking for the CorsairLink4.Service.exe I do think this is crashing my system. How can I completly remove the software and its services? I will post some screenshots as soon as my machine is available (running digital signange at the moment)
DevBiker
We'd need to see what you mean by "the event logger is still looking for it". But if the service is uninstalled and it's trying to start the service and the application isn't there, it simply fails to start the service. It has no other impact and won't crash your system. So ... with that said, why do you think that an uninstalled service is crashing your system?
bertvr
The software was uninstalled, but Windows kept looking for the service. Not once, but several times a second! I cleaned the register and for now everything runs back ok.
