porl Posted March 28, 2015 Share Posted March 28, 2015 As the title says my power supply has developed a fault. The main 24 pin cable when moved turns on and off. This tesults in my pc turning on an off constantly. Its from 2011 so still under its 7 year warranty. What would be my next option? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
HOODedAssault Posted March 28, 2015 Share Posted March 28, 2015 I would remove the cable from the board and check the pins first. One may have just been pushed back so it's not making good contact. May simply need to be pushed back into its spot. Would save you a lot of trouble since it's clearly a connection issue. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
porl Posted March 28, 2015 Author Share Posted March 28, 2015 Yeah checked all the pins on the connections. It really seems to happen further down the lead when its bent a certain way.
