thermal paste in psu ? color

Hello. I have a corsair ax 850 gold full modular psu. And i recently had some troubles with my pc. So im trying to narrow things down. In this proces I had a look at the psu and noticed all the white thermal paste. At first I was sure I found the answer, but later realized what it was. After a closer look at the psu i saw some lightblue liquid/paste/?? Between the two large capacitators (at least I think thats what they are 😉)

So my question is.. is that normal ? Or could it cause my psu to malfunction/shutdown at random

Thanx in advance

That's normal. It's not paste... it's actually caulk.

The bulk caps, coils, transformers, etc. put a lot of weight on the PCB. If you can imagine this thing bouncing around in transport; you certainly wouldn't want to rely on their solder connection alone to keep them secure. So they put a bunch of caulk on them to keep them secure.
