Just a quick look at ASUS's site...16 gig max at 1600mhmz. Of course you will have to overclock to get 1600mhz.

Just from what you posted above and the amount of things you have open at one time i would say it's not only your memory slowing you down. Your CPU is adding to that equation as well. Just adding more memory might not get you the extra speed you are looking for.

Next time you copy / paste a post, please fix the links :) Any one kit from the Vengeance series (normal or low profile) will work fine. Just get ONE kit. Don't mix kits. Also, while the fastest memory is 2000 MHz, there's no guarantee that your CPU will OC enough to be able to run the memory at their rated speed.

Also, DO NOT GET 12 GB like the guy in that other thread suggested. Not recommended for your system.

Hey wired, what board did you look up? I looked up the p7p55d and you came up with something completely different than i did. Just curious.

[edit] You looked up the Rampage board. He was inquiring about the p7p55 board.

Joeyboy the info i have posted above is correct for you P7P55 board.

What wired has posted covers your other Rampage board.
