The problem is that i now have a SSD, and don't know how to format these? Could someone please tell me how to do it! or is it the same as a normal HDD? Synthohol Posted February 18, 2012 Share Posted February 18, 2012 please fill in your system specs in your profile, depending on which OS will make a difference. also post a screenshot after running ATTO, it may not be the drive that is causing the poor performance. However if you really want to restore the performance of an SSD the best option is a Secure Erase, which you can perform with the application Parted Magic.
