Default F240 SSD No Drives Found

I purchased a lenovo y50 and want to switch the HDD with this SSD(CSSD-F240GB2-BRKT). The SSD is not detected in BIOS on the laptop. So I plugged the SSD into my desktop computer and it works from there. Then I tried updating the firmware on the SSD using "Corsair_Force_Series_Update_Tool_1.0" posted here in the forums and it's not showing up as one of the listed drives. I ran it as administrator, compatibility mode, and tried plugging it into different usb ports. Nothing works.

Desktop Specs:
- CPU: Intel 4670k
- Mobo: ASUS Maximus VI Hero BIOS 1402
- OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Contact Lenovo and see if they can help.

The SSD is very old meaning there may be a compatibility issue.
