Gab1212 Posted June 2, 2015 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Hello, I needed some help with this, -Corsair Vengeance DDR3 12GB i7 (3 x 4gb) 1600MHZ-, I wanted to replace my ~8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)~ with. So i had a few question being a gamer with little computer building knowledge and experience: 1-I heard you shouldn't mix ram so I guess i should take out all 4 and put in these 3? so having these 12gigs instead of 14 by leaving an old one in? 2-Is installing new ram easy enough i can do it by being carefull, unclipping old ones and clippin in new ones by myself? I put in a video card no problem just never put in ram before, just watched a youtube video 3- will my pc handle it well with the parts that are in it? is there an out of date part in my computer that's bad or totally outdated for gaming?
