Turbonerfs101e
I got the same controller on my dx58so2 motherboard. It was no good. I update firmware ove marvell 9128 from 1.0.0.1407 to 1.0.0.1701, with no change on performance. Today the ave the 2.2.0.1125 firmware for marvel 9128 chip, but i ave not test it because i a buy a pcie 8x sata/sas controler. For wath i understand you won't get full speed ove sata 3 controller on a pcie 1x. And the marvell 9128 chip is using a pcie 1x.
duke533
I would like to try out the new 2.2.0.1125, but it has a dos updater, and I don't have any bootable pen drive. I tried to boot from cd, but mscdex doesn't see sata (ahci) drives. Any ideas? How did you updated it?
