barnajh1
Hi I own a HX1200 PSU. When the PC is switched on the PSU fan spins up as normal, then switches off. During load the fan don't turn on again, causing the PSU to heat up to the point where it switches off from overheating (after many hours, and depends on room temperature). On full load the PSU pulls 840W. Part number: CP-9020140-WW Can anything be done to force the FAN to turn on, and stay on? Is the unit faulty, or what can cause the FAN to not turn on under load/temperature limit?
Corsair Mike
That sounds like a issue with the fan in the PSU going bad I would contact support here.
