Hello,

I've bought GTX 256 GB drive a month ago.

It worked perfectly, under 2 and 3.0 USB port.

Suddenly, today, this pendrive (bootdrive with Linux installed) stopped being recognized. Os froze, so I rebooted it, and when pendrive is inserted, it cannot get pass through BIOS phase - freezes booting phase.

When I connect USB once some other operaating system is already working, then I get messages below.

Does it mean my drive froze for good ? Just like with Sandforce chipsets ?

FYI - i tried connecting it with USB hub and without.

Device get little warm when plugged in, but nothing happens after displaying these messages (dmesg):

Please help or suggest some further steps.

fdisk doesnt see this drive of course.

Contact your seller and ask if they can replace the drive for you. If not, request an RMA to replace the USB drive.

Please...I'm not a blondie. What else do you think I will do ?

I just hoped someone else had similar problem, because this is the first pendrive I had among 100+ within 15 years that...tried to spin up (plates?).

I hoped I could save it somehow, but now I see there's no solution and my one-month work had gone to trash. Will never trust Corsair again. Period.

It's sad but I will not recommend it to anyone and will warn most HW related websites/forums I use daily, about it, since it might contain Sandforce "bomb" inside. You know what I mean. The symptoms are identical...

My personal opinion - do NOT BUY IT, Sad, but true.
