Spartanjet
Hello, I had bought corsair CMD16GX4M4B3200C16 memory from Amazon.com but at the time it was advertised as CMD16GX4M4A3200C16. I was just about to install the memory into my Rampage V Extreme but its not on the QVL only the A variant is. Will I have any issues is there a large difference between the two? (no longer Hynix?). Thanks for your assistance.

Ahtlon
Well, they can't answer every question, most of them do this at there spear time. Normally he could had a answer if he had filled out a ticket with tech support or with pm at facebook. There are lot of guys here that also know a lot. But with DDR4 it's all new stuff and on the short time the x99 is out with DDR4 there where a lot of new IC's chips and the mainboard and memory brands have to keep up with QVL these chips. Every time there is a new bios for the x99 , you can see that QVL get updated. So The B version should be a newer reversion of the A version and maybe has some minor improvements.
