ddoyle2000
uninstalled CL3 and installed CL 4.2.0.162. I then added the fans and set my LED strip colours. The problem is when my PC resumes from sleep mode the LEDs on the Corsair Lighting Node default back to green (not the colours I set in CL4 software). However the LED strip on the mini commander remembers the correct colour. I discovered that if I stop and start the CLink4Service that the correct colours on the Lighting Node are restored. So I made a batch script called CLink4Service-Restart.bat with the following commands.... net stop CLink4Service net start CLink4Service Then I added this batch script to Task Scheduler's actions, Windows 10 Task Scheduler does not have a 'Wake from sleep' trigger. To get around this choose "Begin the task: On an event" and the following Log: System Source: Power-Toubleshooter Event ID: 1 This will execute the batch script when the PC wakes from sleep and restart the CLink4Service which will make my Corsair Lighting Node restore the LED strip colours. Hopefully Corsair will fix the issue so that I do not need to use a script.
red-ray
Neat solution. Why did you use NET START/STOP rather then SC START/STOP? I found for coolers I needed to wait about 30 seconds before the re-initialise the hardware to give the firmware time to initialise. I can't see why Corsair did not implement this a long time ago as from memory it took me a couple of hours.
