Corsair Dominator CM2X20148-8500C5D DDR2 set becomes dead. How to replace?

Good day to all,

This is my first post in this forum and I am not glad to report that the captioned set, bought back in 2010, failed to operate for no reason.

I was using it on an ASUS P5QC Motherboard with an Intel C2Q Q9550 CPU, together with one more same set, featuring a total of 8GB RAM.

Suddenly, without any obvious reason, the system failed to boot. In fact, it failed to enter the motherboard BIOS. I tried to trace the reason, but it was not easy to do it. I contacted a local specialized technician, who had the tools to check the system and its sub components.

Finally, after removing the two DIMMs of the above set, leaving the other two in place, the system restarted and booted normally.

My set has the following ID:

P/N: CM2X2048-8500C5D

Item (Set) No: 09050938

Can someone let me know if it can be replaced or somehow repaired, given that it has a lifetime warranty?

And if yes, how can this be done in Greece?

Thank you in advance.
