k70 rgb Device not recognised

Purchased this keyboard approx 10 days ago but having big trouble getting this keyboard up and running on my current system (clean install).

 

It lights up with red keys and WASD & arrow keys in white but does not function!

 

I've searched the forums, perused and tried the various remedies for this issue but with no success :sigh!: I don't believe the keyboard is borked as its operates as expected on my Surface PRO 2 (Win 8.1).

Open a ticket with support. Ensure the drivers are installed properly but it should just work beforehand. If you look at your registry you may want to try to find out if this is the correct device- hid#vid_1b1c&pid_1b13&mi_00#7&387f44af&0&0000#{4d1e55b2-f16f-11cf-88cb-001111000030}

Cheers for the pointer Whattf, I'll check the registry first before buggin support :)

Problem solved :)

 

Followed the instructions through on this website http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/165554-usb-driver-general-fix-problems.html :cool: I now have a fuctioning K70 RGB (USB 3.0)

Would be a good idea to "Sticky" this, save any other user losing hair !!
