Dark core RBG SE Firmware won't update

I've seen the thread about updating the firmware and its not helping. i keep getting this screen popping up when i try to update my dark core. https://gyazo.com/2fe987930966f4cd26aa43c4b2ca18cf I have tried in every way i can to get it to continue the update and this screen will not go away. I am using ICUE 3.12.118. I'm extremely confused about how difficult it seems to be to update this mouse.

Error comes up because the mouse needs to be wired, and the dongle attached, because both get updated.

I do plug in both the mouse and the dongle, have the mouse switched to 2.4, and everything.

Are you using any hubs?

i feel dumb just thinking of it now, but at first i didn't think it would affect anything, but i have my dark core plugged in through my strafe RGB. I thought it was just a passthrough but maybe thats affecting it.

Solved, In order to update the dark core, it must be plugged directly into your computer, not through any sort of hub, including corsair mouse mats and keyboards.

I thought that may have been the case. :)

Ok,

I've been reading, watching videos, trying different usb ports and I can't update this dark core mouse. ICUE see's the wireless receiver and usb cable but keeps telling me to plug them in and the little update thing keeps turning at the bottom like its trying to update.

 

Did anyone find a way to simply update the damn mouse??

 

And because of this, It will not sink with the usb receiver.

For starters, rename the damn thing so you can get rid of all those (1)

 

Then make sure both mouse and dongle are in PC USB ports, and not in any hubs.

 

Run the Updater.

SAME HERE... EVERY TIME WINDOWS STARTS IT SHOWS A CORSAIR UPDATE FOR THE MOUSE. UPDATE FAILS EVERY TIME. NOTHING IS BRICKED EVERYTHING STILL WORKS FINE. SCREW IT... I SIMPLY WONT UPDATE ANYTHING. LEAVE IT JUST AS IT IS MOVE ON.:mad::mad::mad:
