dominationz
I purchased 2 corsair 180GB GS SSD's about 9 months ago, when i first set them up i was getting about 1GBs reads and writes, fast forward 9 months later im barely hitting 300MBs on reads and writes. Now i recreated my raid array and re-installed windows, tested again and same result barely able to hit 300MBs. I had the exact same issue with my force series drives and thought it was just a fluke/ bad batch now im running into the same issue with the GS series. I dont have page file enabled/ or system restore. Are SSDs this bad in general or is this just an issue with corsair SSD's
Yellowbeard
How much data is on the RAID array and how much free space is there? And, are you using the system in your dropdown menu?
dominationz
279GB of 335GB usable free atm
Yellowbeard
How much data is on the RAID array and how much free space is there? And, are you using the system in your dropdown menu? You are at about 83% of your capacity on the array. ANY drive, HDD, SSD, RAID, etc will begin to show a very noticeable performance decrease when you go to or above 85% of your available capacity. Toasted
Use ATTO as that is the benchmark tool Corsair uses for their SSD speeds. Does your computer feel like its running slow?
