StevePilot
Hi guys. When running the Corsair Link i've noticed that on my motherboard section I have two temps #5 and #6 that often spike to around 127 degrees C. Then zoom back down again. Is this normal? What would they be? And how can I identify the various temps on Corsair and match them to whats on my PC? I've enclosed a pic to show you. Cheers. DevBiker
That's a common issue. The root cause is that the motherboard's firmware interface says that the sensors are there but they actually aren't ... resulting in crazy readings. Apparently some vendors are more prone to doing this than others. You can ignore those readings. If you're feeling whacky, you can rename them to something silly (like "The Sun"). As for which motherboard temp is where on the board ... yeah, that's fun to guess.
