Hi all,

 

Our latest SSD, the Neutron Series NX500 has launched! It's a half-height, half-length PCI-Express Add-In-Card available in 400GB or 800GB capacities.

It features MLC flash, significant overprovisioning for best performance/endurance, a passive heatsink for cooling, and is backed by a 5-year warranty.

Stupid question. But can this SSD be used as your C:Drive for the OS?

It can, but it would require Windows 10 (native NVMe drivers) and a chipset that is compatible with PCI-e NVMe drives by default. Unfortunately older platforms such as Z87/Z97 require workarounds, but it is still possible.

Hi, just bought an nx500 as a replacement for a bricked revodrive 3. It doesn't read in my Asus P9x79 so can't use as a c drive. Is there a work around?
