kingston Posted April 24, 2017 Share Posted April 24, 2017 I have managed to OC my i5 cpu to 5.1ghz, though I have to drop it down because of heat. I have been checking out my top speed on my fans that are running from the heat-sink which are maxing out at 2343. I connected one of the fans to my mother boards fan connector and its 2700 maxed out.. reason I'm here. will this affect performance of the cooler if I put the fans to MB instead of the HS. another option. can I put more juice through the connection on HS. cheers. have a nice day :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
