Speed fell to half after 2.4 upgrade on F-120 refurb

I purchased F-120 refurb drive (2.0 fw) with 30 day warranty. ATTO results were very similar to ******** 2.

After updating to 2.4, speed dropped by 1/2.

When reverting to 2.0, the update application did not restart and had to manually shut off to reboot. Speed has not returned to normal though it shows 2.0 fw in the upgrade application.

Should I RMA the drive or is there another way of restoring the speed. There is only 2 weeks left in the warranty. See enclosed serial number.

Is there any data on the drive that you need? If you don't mind, you should secure erase the drive and see if the speed is restored. It's possible that it became unaligned during the firmware update, but I have never seen this problem before.

If that doesn't fix your issue then yeah, RMA it.
