Thermy
Hi, I own an AX860i for over a year and it works like a charm. However, I've noticed that 5V power consumption is too high: Corsair Link, Hwinfo and SIV64X read 150W and I don't know what it comes from. Hwinfo read lower PSU total power and PSU Power In (est). Could It be only a misreading? Thanks. My config: Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7 Intel i7 6700K @ 4400Mhz 16 G.Skilll Ripjaws DDR4 3000 Mhz SLI 2xGigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Samsung 960 Pro 512 GB M2 NVME
Thermy
I've resolved the problem after unplug and replug al the cables. Edit: Nope. The problem has returned. 5V Power Wattage is normal only at cold boot but it go up to 150W after 10 minutes and stays there. I think that is linked to the temperature. Corsair Mike
I would go ahead and make a ticket on our support site. Is the 5v rail still reading 5v? If it is, it could be that another part in your system, like a HDD, fan controller or something, that is faulty and is pulling way to much. If there is another part in my system that is pulling way too much I think that even the PSU Total Power and Power In should be higher. Here's an HWInfo Sensor Screen: http://i63.tinypic.com/2pqkuuf.jpg
