ChrisJohn
I have installed Windows 7 RC 64bit on to my newly installed SSD and noticed when viewing the drive from another OS that it has two partitions - one shows up as "System reserved" in Explorer and is just 100Mb long. Has Windows 7 created this separate partition and if so, does anyone know what it is for? I have no idea if it was already on the drive as I just physically installed the drive, booted from DVD and let Windows 7 do its stuff. This is my first experience of an SSD and I am keen to understand what is involved in getting the best out of my expensive new toy! :sigh!:
leexgx
windows 7 makes an 100MB partition so you can access basically the same stuff you get on an DVD (tools wise)
